Gutmann Kabel switching wires comply with VDE 0812. The switching wires LiY (bare) and LivY/LiYv (tinned) are made of soft-annealed fine single copper wires class 5 according to DIN EN 60332 (VDE 0295) and insulated with soft PVC YI2 according to VDE 0207-4. Most highly flexible switching wires LifY (bare) and LifvY (tinned), have a highly flexible structure always exceeding class 6 and largely complying with DIN 46438, and most highly flexible switching wires are insulated with soft PVC YM2 according to VDE 0207-5.
We would be pleased to manufacture special batches of variants such as: LivYw (LiYv-t) in e.g. 90°C/105°C or also in 125°C versions.
All switching wires according to VDE 0812 are at least largely oil and petrol resistant. The conductors of all switching wires are soft annealed electrolyte copper CU-ETP1 according to DIN EN 13602.
