Copper earthing ropes – braided round copper ropes, transparent insulated, highly flexible, ESUY

based on VDE 0682/0683 and DIN 46440 and EN 61138 (VDE 0283-3)

Gutmann Kabel insulated and braided earthing ropes consist of super fine copper wires, with support braiding made of soft annealed bare electrolyte copper CU ETP1 according to DIN EN 13602. Highly flexible round ropes are covered in braided super fine copper wires. These highly flexible copper laced and braided wires are insulated with a transparent plastic sheath made of special soft PVC TM2 based on VDE 0281-1 and, to a great extent, oil and petrol resistant. The temperature resistance range of the insulated earthing ropes in mobile applications is between -30°C and +70°C.

Special versions are available on request.

High requirements on flexibility and toughness as a general protective measures during non-stationary repair work, for potential compensation and earthing of IT installations and machines, as well as for the earthing of high power systems of energy producers and overhead power lines for railroads and trams.
